4 Fruit-Infused Detox Waters to Drink Daily

Apple Cinnamon Detox Water

Both apples and cinnamon can help to raise your metabolism.

Ingredients:

8 cups cold water
1 apple, thinly sliced
1 cinnamon stick

Instructions:

1. Add all of the ingredients into a pitcher and gently stir. Store in the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour before serving, or overnight for best flavor. Serve cold, with ice if desired.

 

Strawberry Basil Detox Water

Strawberries, which are abundant during the summer, are added to this detox water to provide vitamin C and improve skin health. In addition, lemon slices are included to stimulate digestion. 

Ingredients:

8 cups cold water
1/2 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
12 fresh basil leaves, chiffonade

Instructions:

1. Add all of the ingredients into a pitcher and gently stir. Store in the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour before serving. Serve cold with ice if desired.

Pineapple Mint Detox Water

Besides tasting deliciously sweet, pineapple has anti-inflammatory properties and boosts your metabolism. Mint is also helpful by supporting the digestive system.

Ingredients:

8 cups cold water
1 cup fresh ripe pineapple, diced
Juice of 1 lime
10 fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

1. Place half of the fresh pineapple and mint in the bottom of a large pitcher. Gently muddle. Add the remaining ingredients, including the water, into the pitcher and gently stir. Store in the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour before serving. Serve cold with ice if desired.

 

Morning Cleanse Detox Water

Blueberries, raspberries, cucumber, lemon, and mint help to flush out toxins and aid digestion. 

Ingredients:

8 cups cold water
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
10 leaves fresh mint

Instructions:

1. Combine all of the ingredients together in a pitcher. Place in the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour before serving. Serve cold, with ice if desired.
